A strange and pleasing aroma of raspberries, chocolate, liqourice, bret and leather. The taste is equally woody, aged and zingy, but the mouthfeel kind o´starts of on a high note, toothpaste and mint, and dosen´t come down to the other impressions. Finishes of that nice bowl of maltvinegar it is. harrisoni (6828), Ashford, Kent, England

Hazy russet, thin lasting beige/pink head. Glue and raspberry/cherry aroma. Lovely and sour in mouth, great flavours. Very good and just about my beer of the day. djtimeless (175), Florida, USA

| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jan 4, 2009 [Bottle] Pours a cloudy brown with a smallish tan head. Aroma is fantastic and complex with cherries, funk, some caramel, and vinegar. Flavor is cherries, balsamic vinegar, maybe a hint of juniper, and quite a bit of tartness. This is really a fantastic sour. Steeped with complexity, and I feel like this would age well. DragonStout (1380), Pataskala, Ohio, USA

Bought for a sour tasting I wanted to hold, but no one seemed interested in doing with me. Took another sip. Wow. This is exactly the kind of sour ale I love. Full of body and complexity. Tart. Lots of fruit. bb (2930), Martinez, California, USA
