Slightly sour, citric aroma.
Cloudy yellow amber, low creamy head. Citrus, yeast, veggie, a bit peach. Lightbodied. Wasn’t too impressed. Finn (1510), Tromsø, Norway

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 16, 2005 Bottle at RBESG Grand Tasting, August 2005. Orange colour. Oddly, I thought this smelt a lot like the same brewery’s Ardenne Blond, which I sampled at the same time. There are hops in there, but they are not that assertive. On the palate there’s a lot more malt than expected and, again, the hops don’t deliver a weighty enough punch. Promising, but needs more work.

Light sweet malty flavor with the taste being more hoppy and fruity towards the end. Long dry finish. thebeertourist (2822), Oslo, Norway
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 7, 2005 Cloudy orange with a big egg-white head that is long-lasting. Yeasty bread aroma, not very typical of the style, but nice. Very bitter, but still with a sweet malty background. Hints of apples. Full-bodied, lively. Dry finish. Somehow the flavour reminds me more of a full-bodied Belgian blond ale. However, the bitterness definitely brings me back to an Indian pale ale, maybe drunk a bit too young? yngwie (5000), Kristiansand, Norway
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 6, 2005 Updated: Jan 5, 2007Bottled, (#4) Pours a hazy, golden colour, with a large, small-bubbled, beige head. Aroma is mostly fruity with malt. Quite mild taste for an IPA. Citric/orange tastes dominates at start. Hop-bitterness comes stronger at the end, but not as biting as I shold wish for. More an english IPA than the american type i for some reason expected. (051006)
