| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 16, 2008 Bottle from Capone’s. Pours turbid dull orange with 3-finger off-white head and great lacing. Nose is resiny hops, pineapple, spicy yeast, and funky, female feety notes. Tastes resiny hoppy, with mango, pineapple, tangerine, some earthy, floral, and funky notes throughout. Very complex palate and a very unique flavor profile make this one an interesting, Belgian-flaired take on this style. mtoast (296), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 4/5 | 8/20 | Sep 12, 2008 50cL bottle, batch NR155, brewed March 2008, reviewed 9/12/08. Amber color, quick dying white foam. Aroma is slightly soapy, some fusels booziness and autolyzed yeast. Flavor continues with the dead yeasty bite, hops are just barely there, adding some mintiness. Nice body, but the flavors just don’t jive for me. michael-pollack (2686), King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, USA

Aroma of tart green apples, some multi-grain malt, grapefruit and a touch of caramel. Taste is medium bodied with a dry hop and tangerine flavor.
