Bottled from Vinmonopolet, Oslo. Cloudy brown coloured, small off-white head. Very fruity nose, some malts. Pleasantly bitter flavour, fruity notes remain. Very nice, not overly-hopped thirst-quenching IPA. Could drink this all evening. Good!

(Bottle 50cl, from Nikolaj, Batch #27 from feb. 06) Pours hazy dark orange with small off-white head. Very fizzy! Aroma of fruits (pear), bread, spices, earthy and hint of caramel. Flavor of malts, fruits (grapefruit), light bitter dry finish. Medium body. Very good.

16.9oz bottle-pours a big foamy light tan head and amber color. Aroma is plenty of medium malt, citrus-lemon hops. Then becomes musty/earthy. Taste is plenty of medium malt/wheat-caramel, pine/earthy/spicy/citrus-lemon hops. Medium body. OK carbonation. Nice English/American IPA blend. Thanks to jwc215(BA) for sharing.

Appearance: Pours a clear, amber body with a full, fizzy, ivory-colored head. Smell: Pale malts, a slight hint of caramel. Dash of spice. Candied grapefruit segments. Taste: Palt malts with a touch of caramel sweetness. A bit punchier spice than the aroma. Grapefruit pith. Medium hop bitterness. Tastes of orange oil and peppermint on the dry, bitter finish. Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Well carbonated. Drinkability: Whoa, Haand, easy on the carbonation. Not the best IPA here or aboard, but decent enough for a try.

A little more malt than hops on the nose roasty and fresh. orange pour with tan/white head and lace. A nice malt backbone cracked by a very good hops kicker good finishing bitter. Slightly faomy but reasonably full palate. Solid beer that is close to bing excellent.

(from notes) Batch #77, brewed May 07. Overcarbonated, hence appearance is dominated by ridiculous head. Smells dominated by earthy, grassy hops. Flavor dominated by same leafy hop flavors with healthy dose of mineral astringency. Strong oily bitterness on the palate. not horrible, but certainly does not stand up to other IPAs, especially stateside-brewed ones it apparently attempts to emulate.

An amber apperance with a white head. The aroma contains some toasted notes with caramel and citrus of course. The flavor contains a hint of pine along with some lemons and caramel. The finish is bitter but sour also. Overall this one was ok.
