50 cL bottle. Pours hazy to murky orange with a dense and slowly diminishing tan head. Extremely inviting hoppy and caramel malt aroma, light yeasty note too - lovely! Flavour is classic hops dry with a mild fruity note towards a light wooden note. Has a mild liqourice bite too. Medium dry caramel malt base. Goes into a light bitter finish with a mellow yeasty note. Fantastic inviting aroma while the flavour is a bit so and so.

Pours a transparent amber orange with a frothy, clingy-lacing light tan head. Aroma of semi-sweet pale malts and a dominant ctirusy hoppy presence. Body starts effervescent and lightly malty sweet with a mild orange and grapefruity hop flavor before a drier, thinner bitter finish. Seems slightly over-attenuated.

Unclear dark amber with huge beige head. Sweet aroma with notes of hops, caramel and grapefruit. Flavor likewise with a solid bitter end. Creamy mouthfeel.

500ml bottle from West Lakeview Liquors, Chicago. Batch 77, brewed may ’07, BBD may ’10. Basically a year old. Cloudy amber color with medium to large fluffy billowing head. Aroma is grassy hops with dull caramel with some honeysuckle like thing going on. Flavor is that same grassy hops with just slight citrus notes and very dried out malt sweetness. Medium body. This was nice but I should have tried this sooner.

0,5 lt Bottle thanks to KnutAlbert. My second beer from Haandbryggerietan IPA. Not that bitter with some sweetness. Yeast and malt are very well balanced. Very flowery aroma and taste. Mild hoppiness and hints of spices are also present. I really enjoyed this one.

Bottle. Batch 106. Brewed Oct. 2007. Pours a hazy amber colour with a medium good lasting creamish off-white head leaving a goodlacing. The aroma has plenty of pine, flowers and bit herby hops. Quite good mouthfeel. The flavour has a soft sweetness with bitter hops, pine, citrus and some herbs. Dry bitter pine finish. Takk fyri hesa bjór noregsmaður Yngvar.
