Commercial Description:
London Porter - has a lot to offer your tastebuds, this porter includes generous amounts of chocolate malts to render a mild roasty flavour but still a nice intensity. In addition we use balanced amounts of crystal malts and flavouring hops for a good fruitiness and aroma. To be served at 9-12 degrees C. Bottle conditioned - unfiltered and unpasteurised, no artificial carbonation. (Not to be confused with the stronger Haandbryggeriet Porter.) Bottle. Dark brown colour with a medium beige head. Rich aroma and taste of roasted malts, fruits, chocolate and licorice. A porter on the light side, but still good.

(Bottle thanks to Porter Otto and Åsa) Pours dark brown with a nougat colour head. The aroma is of chocolate/coffee roast, fruity/floral hops, liquorice/sal ammoniac, dark fruits/plums and nuts. The flavour is of liquorice, nuts, coffee, fruits and hops. The mouthfeel is soft with a sharp carbonation. Dusty, light sweet and light to medium bitter. Hops and light roast lingers. Light to medium bodied.

A surprising fruity aroma comes with this one. At first taste is roasted and mild bitter chocolate flavor, well ballanced. Some coffee palate maybe.

Bottle at Nnudd tasting. Thanks for sharing Nnudd. Poured dark brown with a smal fine beige head. Aroma of roasted malts and coffee. Medium bodied. Flavour is cocoa, roasted malts and it ends up with a bitter chocolate like taste.
