Commercial Description:
London Porter - has a lot to offer your tastebuds, this porter includes generous amounts of chocolate malts to render a mild roasty flavour but still a nice intensity. In addition we use balanced amounts of crystal malts and flavouring hops for a good fruitiness and aroma. To be served at 9-12 degrees C. Bottle conditioned - unfiltered and unpasteurised, no artificial carbonation. (Not to be confused with the stronger Haandbryggeriet Porter.) Aroma off roasted / burnt malt, chocolate, coffee, and some yeast/ alcohol. The flavor is mostly burnt malt and roasted coffee with a bitter aftertaste, would have wanted a bit more complexity and mouth feel, but a good (burnt)porter non the less.

500 ml bottle, many thanks to Ole_R ! Batch nr. 58, brewed Nov. 06, BB Nov. 08. ABV is 4.5%. Black colour, reddish brown in the highlights, huge, creamy and lasting brown head. Lovely aroma of chocolate, coffee and roasted malts. Nice roasty flavour, notes of roasted / burnt malts and coffee. Fairly dry, medium mouthfeel. Moderately bitter finish.

Opaque black color, very small brown head. Burned dark malty aroma, some licorice in it too. Roasted, burned malty flavor with some licorice notes. Light, a bit yeasty. Overall quite nice light roasty porter.

500ml bottle (Pikkulintu, Helsinki) Jet black, thin head. Subtle burnt aroma. Very lively in the mouth, but when that’s settled, it’s a good pale malt and also chocolate malt taste too. Smooth and malty, nicely burnt - very nice. Excellent job at 4.5%.

Bottled at Pikkulintu, Helsinki. Dark brown colour, almost black. Beige medium-sized and -bubbled head. Burned flavour with coffee, very strong aroma. Fizzy, silky palate. Taste coffee, with some silky smoothness. Good!

Hazy dark nut brown pour covered by a 1cm lacy and foamy head. Powdery in the nose with light liquorice, nuts and plums notes that complement the soft roastiness. Well integrated, fruity, biscuity, just showing in order every flavours you could think were missing at some point. Sweet beginning, but that fades as well. Medium body, light foamy carbonation. Good stuff.

Bottled. RBESG. Near black colour. Great porter with notes of juniper and perfect toastiness. Medium bodied with bitter chocolate. Tasty beer.

Bottle thanks to someone. Aroma is roasted barley and chocolate malts. Taste is similar perhaps a hint at flaked barley. Not my style of beer at all.
