| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 15/20 | Jun 27, 2007 500 ml bottle. Pitch black. Rich cocoa aroma. Lots of roasted malt character. Nicely rounded flavours and very mellow as there is is little carbonation. Hops are there but they hide well into the background and never come to the fore. This is a great porter. Wonderful balance and very smooth. Great drinkability. zeke626 (303), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA
