Acidic christmas appley aroma, christmas spices, maybe a touch of glue. Roasted malty flavor, spices, dry fruits, strong apple, tangy hops, little roasty chocolate and herbs in the finish. Yeast adds more tangy apple and ash. Quite light palate, with soda like carbonation. Strange but drinkable old ale, and even similar to Julmust actually. JMFG (1514), Florida, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 25, 2008 Courtesy DaChzMan. Murky dark brown color, light tan head. Odd aroma, smells like stale Pepsi, mild funky caramel, spruce. General mild sweet taste with not much complexity behind it at all. Really mild and a bit boring.
