Pours hazy orange coloured, looks like "wappusima". Taste is sweetish and wide, a lot of delicious malts and fruity & floral hops. Quite yeasty too. A bit of caramellic aftertaste. Oh yes, the batch was nr 126, so a quite a young stuff... Nice spring beer.

Påskegodt is funny lookig beer with orange-brown colour and white head. Aroma is spicy and very fruity and maybe there are some hops in the background. Flavour is not so fine than aroma and some biting thing dominates flavour. Anyway there are same fruits and spicyness than is found also in the aroma. Carbonation is quite plentiful and it makes spicyness more notified. Flavour is not so good than aroma but still this it interesting and lively beer. I found same nuancees from Duvel and Gouden Carolus Classic.

Frothy and tall, the cream coloured head quickly bubbles away until a thin foam remains over the hazy mahogony colour, reminiscent of deeply polished wood. Mild and flowing aroma slides through shades of banana nut bread and toffee, picking up breezes of clean smoke -- almost like a lightly peated single malt -- and grass. Very Belgian seeming, with hints of dry spices and herbs floating in the background and subtlety without sharpness. A light minerality and clean wool socks are the last aromas I can confidently detect. Moderate to heavy sweetness is pervasive with a light spiciness throughout and a faint bitterness at the finish. The tastes are mostly similar to the aroma, perhaps a little sharper. Medium bodied with a slick, acidic texture and lively carbonation. There’s a bit of numbing that starts, but I can’t determine whether it’s the yeast dulling my tongue, astringency or alcohol. At any rate, this is well put together, though I find it difficult to pick out individual elements at times -- as if the beer won’t come into focus. 50cl bottle, 01/2008.

0,5l bottle. white head, mead coloured, cloudy. aroma: citrus aroma, unpleastant muddy-vegetable hint.palate : pretty low carb. taste: Little bit citrus, very sour and bitter. Unpleasant. I have to say, that this tastes like somebody vomited in my beer.

Bottle. Batch #63, brewed January 2007. Pours a nice deep orange-amber colour with a huge good lasting beige bubbly and creamy head. the aroma has a mild bitterness with lots of ripe fruits, yeast, caramel and some orange. Good mouthfeel. The flavour is bitter-sweet with ripe fruits, bitter hops, some yeast, caramel, orange slight spice. Dry long lasting bitter fruity finish. Nice one! Eg takki fyri hesa bjór noregsmaður Yngvar!

Bottle 0.5 l. Pours hazy light brown/dark orange, strange colour with a bit of dunkelweizen look to it, which at first looks delicious but turns almost repulsive when the head completely disappears. How much the head really affects! Nose is fresh grassy and a bit spicy. Flavor is nicely hoppy bitter with some citrus acidity and good thick yeasty and malty body. Very thick weizenlike mouthfeel and crispy carbonation. Good and tasty, more dry than sweet.

Bottle, 6%. Batch#28. Weak caramelly aroma. Hazy caramel colour. Very small creamy head. The flavour is malty with a little hops and a hint of dust. Mild carbonation. Quite süffig.

Bottle at Chris´s, october 07. Slightly turbid orange/copper with a big, bubbly white head. Strong spicy fruity hops aroma and some yeasty notes. Strong perfumey flowers flavor, dry and flavorfull. Medium moutgfeel, dry but malty at the same time, really balanced with a rewarding dry finnish. Solid, hoppy, bittersweet belgian pale ale.
