Bottle. Aroma is flowery and yeasty. Palate is fizzy/overly carbed. Floral estery fruit notes, citrus rind, and more flowers in the finish. Alcoholic finish.

Cloudy, almost murky orange pour covered by a light white head. Highly effervescent beer all through and this will be a big factor in determining whether the beer is pleasant or not. It starts quite sweet with its strawy and grainy malts feeling quite honey-like, but quickly gets drier where long herbal whispers from the soft hops get carried on. Ultimately, the dryness becomes amplified by the huge carbonation and that same culprit makes it hard to just drink quickly without feeling to full constantly.

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of yngwie. Slightly hazy amber golden with a small, white head. Fruity, peach aroma. Quite a full body, sweetish malts and caramel with some fruity and spicy touches. Quite interesting. 180807

Bottle, RBESG Grand Tasting 07. Hazy golden copper. No head. Mouth is alcohol maltiness, summery fruit and some coriander. Nose is citrusy, peachy. Some suds. Finishes sweet and some maltiness. Rather nice.

A Sim rate (RBESG tasting): Perfumy with a strong aroma of pear - like the succo-di-fruta we used to get in Italy. Looks just like one too, like a pulpy, cloudy juice. Alcohol is not well hidden, even though it’s not really that strong. Spicy, cinnamony with such a bitter/sour finish that really lets it down.
