Commercial Description:
Påskegodt - we on the brewery look at Easter as the start of the beer season of the bright time of the year. Påskegodt is therefore a beer that represents the transistion from Winter to Spring, a bright beer with a lot of the colour and taste of the bright part of the year.

50 cL bottle. Pours slight hazy orange with a quick disappearing head. Sweet to slight apple nose, minor spice note. Spiced flavour, slight sweet and with decent bitterness. Seems slight perfumed in the flavour, I assume that is the spices.

Dark yellow colored with slight brown hints. Little white head. Got me bottom of the bottle, and it can be seen from this strong hazyness... Yeast and orange in aroma, still rather mild one. medium bodied. Flavor is even more yeasty with again some lemony orange, perfume also present in aftertaste.

Bottled. Muddy dark yellow. Orangey nose. Fairly sweet and medium bodied with rounded, perhaps a bit hard and plastic, mouthfeel. Fruity melon flavour. Some hops show towards a drying finish, but it stays rather neutral.

Bottled batch nr 28 (brygget 03/2006)
Hazy orange color, not much head. Sourish, a fruity (grapes), mainly yeasty nose. Yeast, orange, mango and alcohol in the flavor. Quite dry nutty flavor. Some underlying caramelly notes. Easter beer yes, but nothing special, kind of lame.

(Bottled) Hazy medium amber with a small, mostly fading head. Grainy-malty, fruity but somewhat glueish aroma (either infected, or badly spiced). Grainy-malty, wheaty flavor with spices, not much hops, and a sour, unclean and ashy finish. Medium-bodied, slightly rough palate with medium carbonation. A spicy and quite unclean brew with strong glueish notes. Not very pleasant, at least this bottle.

Bottle . Orange / brown colour with a beige head. Flavour is caramel, alcohol, malt, yeast, sweet, hop, citrus. Tasted 2006 and 2007 at the same time. I think 2007 is the better than 2006 . (6-3-6-3-14 (2006)).

Hazy amber of color with an off white head. An aroma with notes of old apples and hops. A flavor of oak and apple juice. A dry and bitter finish.
