It poured a pitch dark liquid with a huge dark foam that quickly dissapeared. The smell was very weak and I had a hard time distinguishing any aroma at all. The flavor was similar to their Odin’s Trippel, but allot weaker. With chocolate, coffey and nuts.

@Tampa Weekly Gathering-Thanks kiefdog–16.9oz bottle–pours a brown head and dark brown color. Aroma is dark malt-molasses, earthy hops. Taste is dark malt-chocolate/molasses, earthy hops. Dry.

Pours dark brown with faint hue of purple and decent minute long mocha head. The aroma is mix of milk and dark chocolate, some dark roastiness and burnt molasses. The bold taste is pushed forward by assertive carbonation creating a slightly harsh burnt note to go along with some coffee, burnt molasses and dark chocolate. IT evens out nicely toward the finish creating a pleasing after taste. Very nice flavor that might benefit from a little less carbonation to soften up the slightly harsh start. It ends wonderfully though.

Bottle thanks to ericandersnavy. Pours black with a nice light tan head. Smell is of chocolate and alcohol. Taste has chocolate, unsweetened cocoa, mild hops to back it all up, and tastes very alcoholic as well. A nice porter, but not a top tier for me.

Bottle. Batch 79. Nice two finger khaki head formed on a nearly black body. Nose is of dusty cocoa, roast and faint fruit. Flavor is strongly roasted tending towards burnt, with chocolate, coffee, and fruit. Bitterness is prominent as is the sourness. Medium palate and pretty smooth. Would have liked less sourness and a little more sweetness to balance the roast.

Bottle from Parti-Pak Liquors (Indianapolis, IN). Pours a dark brown to black with one finger tan bubbly head. Aroma is sweet and malty with notes of roast, wood, coffee, caramel, ripe dark fruit, slight smoke. Flavor is roasty and sweet with notes of chocolate, wood, smoke, ripe dark fruit, booze, some hints of caramel and brown sugar. Generally medium body with a pleasing malty finish.

Thanks to kiefdog for the share. Pours dark brown with a tan head. Wow, seems like a decent amount of fizz with this one. Nose is chocolate, roast, and a hint of coffee. Flavor is about the same with a fizzy carbonation at heart. Pretty good porter overall.

Bottle. Pours black with a brown head. Aroma is full of dark notes, picking up some coffee. Flavor is full of roasted notes as well as notes of coffee.
