Bottle. Dark black pour, tons of carbonation and light vanilla and roasted malt aroma. Flavor was creamy chocolate, some smoked malt and finished with a little vanilla. Very good porter, although I’m not sure it’s worth 8-9 bucks a bottle.

Bottle thanks to ericandersnavy. Pours a dark brown with tan head. Aroma of some dark roast, some hop, nice soft dark fruit. Flavor is a little odd, but has some dark fruit, some tart, some dark roast....mouthfeel is medium body with high carbonation. Overall, a little strange but some good stuff!!!!!

2007 bottle. Sitting in my beer fridge forever and ever. Pours a dark brown color with a fluffy tan head. Roasty aroma with some woody notes, liquor soaked raisins, and a bit of a "dusty" aroma. Flavor is damn nice. A lot better than I expected from the aroma. Fruit, coffee, chocolate, roast, some hops and a hint of sourness rounds this one out quite nicely. This has aged very well.

22.05.2009, 0,5l Bottle. "Norse Porter" Batch 183. Colour is intense black with a brown head. Aroma is dominated by roasted malt. The beer is dry hopped with a crisp aftertaste. A nice porter.

Pours black with some light getting through. Medium lived tan head. Smell is roasty chocolate malt. Taste is dry and roasty with dark malt and cocoa flavors. Mouthfeel is a bit overcarbonated and prickly and it foams in the mouth. Overall, a very enjoyable porter but this bottle was overcarbonated, perhaps as it is bottle conditioned and is 2 years old? Not sure...
