| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 22, 2009 500 ml. bottle. Pours a thin lasting mocha colored head, over a clear dark black almost opaque (SRM 40) body....nose is cherry, coffee, chocolate, soy sauce, bit of beef roast.....taste is coffee, soy sauce, bit of chocolate, light lingering hop bitterness....mouth feel is medium to light, carbonation low, with tiny bubbles. A very nice porter, with a mouth feel that is lighter than the aromas or flavors would suggest. The balance is here as is the malt complexity. harrisoni (6899), Ashford, Kent, England

Nice beer but at times came across as a touch thin and watery, but likeable and tasty. A6 A4 F6 P4 Ov13 3.3 Kestral (210), Oslo, Norway
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 24, 2009 Bottle at Håndtverkerstuene. Pours dark, dark brown with a light brown creamy head. Aroma is sweet and fruity, with some roasted and burnt notes, some yeast and faint alcohol. Raisins, chocolate and coffee is added in the flavour, where the burnt notes is complemented by an ashy and smoky character. Body is medium, carbonation is a bit sharper than I’d like.
