Bottle 50cl. Very dark brown colour. Nice creamy head, but quite short. In the nose, portwine & raisins were quite dominant, but also hints of spices which reminds me of Christmas were present. This is an excellent beer.

Bottle, courtesy fonefan, May 2008. Reddish colour - wouldn’t really call it "almost black". Clean, firm & quite bitter (in a herbal way). Some sweetish spicy notes. Pretty decent.

Bottled@Timo A tasting. Hazy amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is grass, caramel, alcohol and some slight ryebreadyness. Flavour is caramel, alcohol, some fruity hops, vanilla and mild breadyness. Alcohol wreaks havoc in the finish.

(Bottled, BB 12/2009). Thanks Timo A. Dark ruby color, small off-white head. Bready, chocolaty and ryeish aroma. A bit sweet, liquerish palate. Hints of vanilla, toffee and rye bread. Alcohol picks up in the aftertaste.
