Commercial Description:

English: This beer has a very complex, yet light taste. For a bock this beer combines maltiness with the fruity clove-like taste of weizen yeast for a great taste experience. The beer is suitable for long-term storage and improves with age. Can be enjoyed at any season, also as a Christmas beer. (Translated from the Norwegian.)

Bottle at Chriso pre GBBF tasting 09. Not much of a weizenbock. Dark lager really. Bit too carbonated. Expected more from this brewery.

A Mes rate: bottle at the ever brilliant Chris O’s Pre GBBF Extravaganza.
Chestnut brown with a thin but lasting white head. Very cheesy and sweet with a little too much carbonation. Nice roasty caramel notes and some faint sourness in the finish. Started well, finished rather standard.

Bottle at the legend of chriso’s pre GBBF09 tasting. Alround rating: Sweet brown bread, the wheat is subdued, but its fairly unclean and sweet. Apparently a semi-fail.

Bottle@Home. Coffee, black currant, licorice and allspice aroma. Very dark brown, light brown large rocky head, no lace. Light sweet, bitter, coffee, roasted, licorice, light peppery, hint of grass, some fruity sourness. Nice beer but not like any Weizenbock. More a Belgian Imperial Stout.
