Commercial Description:

English: This beer has a very complex, yet light taste. For a bock this beer combines maltiness with the fruity clove-like taste of weizen yeast for a great taste experience. The beer is suitable for long-term storage and improves with age. Can be enjoyed at any season, also as a Christmas beer. (Translated from the Norwegian.)

Near black colored, slight red hints. Medium sized lasting brown head. Sweet, plummy, slightly yeasty aroma, some roastiness also there. Not any wheat can be found. Medium bodied. Flavor is also sweet with plums and some caramelly roastiness. Roasted aftertaste. Slight disappointment.

(Bottled) Hazy dark reddish brown with a medium, tanned and bubbly head. Vinous, dryish aroma with loads of yeast and some dried fruit, berries and licorice. Licorice-roasty-malty, slightly sweet flavor with well-hidden alcohol. Medium-bodied, somewhat foamy-carbonated palate. A quite pleasant brew, which seems way underrated here.

Bottle. Pours a dark brown color with a big but fast disappearing creamy tan head. Sweet malty caramel aroma with some hints of licorice and yeast. Thick malty flavor with licorice and yeast, also hints of alcohol and dark fruits. Long warming sweet malty finish and some bitterness in the aftertaste.

Bottle. Head was small and slightly off-white creamy. Color was brown with a clear sparkling body. Aroma was caramel, rye bread, banana, yeast, and cola-licorice. Medium boded with a fizzy carbonation. Flavor was mostly sweet, but some burned like candies could be felt in at the end. Ok Weizenbock

Opaque brown colour beneath a big tan head - lots of sediment in this one. Powerful aroma of prunes, chocolate and even a bit of smoke. Nice body and sweet malt flavour again with nice chocolate notes. Brief but full aftertaste - nice one for a winter evening perhaps.

The head is huge and the foam is growing out of the bottle even after pouring the first glass... The beer is black with a brown hue and the aroma has notes of wheat, plum, fruit and sweetness. The flavour has a light sweetness, notes of dark fruits, hints of chocolate, plum, raisin, port wine and a very light bitterness. It has a lot of notes, but they are kind of weak, and I would like some more body and power, even if I do like it. The biggest problem is probably that every wheat bock I taste, is compared with Aventinus. 1804

Bottled. Dark reddish brown coloured. Dense brown head. Aroma of fruits, some liqourice and roast. Flavour is yeasty and light spiced. Has liqourice and fruitnotes. Is a bit bland and watery imo. Dies rather quickly on palate and has a light yeasty and caramelly end. Not really my kind of beer. A bit too bland and uninteresting,.

Boyttle. Thanks too Yngwie. Frothy lightbrown excellent fully deminishing head. Clody ugly brown colour. Moderate malty almost no yeasty aroma. Nice powerfull bitter flavor. Oily palate but way too fizzy. This beer was not crafsmanship.
