| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Dec 27, 2008 Bottle. The Hacker-Pschorr Animator smells a little bit of alcohol (not a big surprise...), light malty and surprisingly of molasses- The rather small creamy off-white head is nearly fully disappearing. The body is red. The first taste is quite bitter and medium long staying, the finish is unfortunately rather unpleasant. The beer has a medium body with normal carbonation and a light alcoholic finish. A not so nice Doppelbock. yespr (12246), Copenhagen O, Denmark
