Pours a remarkably light amber color for a doppelbock. Medium thick creamy head. Very nice roasted hazelnut aroma. The flavor is rich and strong in alcohol, but very balanced and easy to drink. I like. ChristianScheffel (4632), Odense, Denmark

[thank you, dedollewaitor]
Pours deep orange-brown with a fine, medium, frothy yellow-beige head. Aroma is sweet maltiness, light caramel as well. Good, creamy palate. Good sweet flavour with a vinious streak and good caramel. A fine dobbelbock (but still too malty sweet for my tastebuds). pivski (24), Zagreb, Croatia

I like doppelbocks anyway. Dark red beer with strong alcohol bite, and great taste. FatPhil (3483), Espoo, Finland

Dark orange, brief off-white head. Malty bocky aroma. Taste follows that. Good malty bocky body, some fleshy sweet fruits. A nutty woody finish. A little sticky, but not cloying. Hint of almond later.
