See-thru light brown/copper with a bit cloudiness. Very boring and thin doppelbock. Not much body or anything else, just very alcoholic (8.2 %). Not really sweet or hoppy or malty or.. anything. Maybe some caramel notes.

(Bottle) Pours reddish amber. Sweet, grainy and bread like malt aroma with a subtle fruitiness. Caramelly and earthy undertones. Hints of flowers and nectar. Sweet caramel flavour with under tones of fruits and earth. Some grainy bread in the flavour as well. Syrupy, medium thick mouthfeel. Medium body. A bit too sweet.

(Bottle, thanks motelpogo!) Labeled 8.2% ABV. With a swing top cap. Shady dark brown color, tan head. Sweet malty alcohol scent, a bit roasted and chocolate. Malty chocolate alcohol taste. Medium big mouthfeel, medium bitterness.

Bottle, 8.2%. Slightly hazy red/chestnut colour. Small, unstable light brown head. Fruity, vinous aroma. The flavour is quite peppery with a roasted bitterness. Only slightly sweet, so more on the roasted than sweet side. A little fruity too, but also quite bitter. Quite alcoholic, but well-balanced. Becomes increasingly pleasant as one approaches the bottom.

Nice red-golden color and an OK head. The aroma is very malty with hints of caramel. The flavour has lots of malt and sweetness that is nicely balanced by a light citrus. It has a very light bitterness and I sense the alcohol as a warmth and a flavour. 2369
