A hazy amber beer with a small orange head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of oranges and yeast. The flavor is malty with notes of alcohol and a dry finish.

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of MoritzF. Pours a hazy (which is unusual for a German bock, but this was unfiltered) dark, amber golden with a dense, off-white head. Fat aroma of roasted malt and overripe fruit. Quite a solid body with a very rich malt base. A little low in carbonation. Accents of caramel and overripe fruit and a fairly alcoholic finish without much hop presence. 141107

Bottled. Amber colour. Rich, sweet and malty with some caramel. A fair amount of hops balances the malt well. Grassy bitter finish.

50 cL bottle. Pours slight cloudy deep orange with a huge creamy and light tan head. Dried fruit, breadish, mild spiced and caramelish dark aroma. Smooth chocolate and caramelish base flavour. Followed by a mild sweetends breadish malt and a smooth caramel flavour into the finish. Light bitterness and spiced finish. Light chocolate/caramel smoothness into the far finish.

<i>[ Trade by Koelschtrinker ].</i> Clear medium orange amber color with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, toffee, brown sugar. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. (310808)

Bottle, 8.2%. Slightly hazy red/chestnut colour. Small, unstable light brown head. Fruity, vinous aroma. The flavour is quite peppery with a roasted bitterness. Only slightly sweet, so more on the roasted than sweet side. A little fruity too, but also quite bitter. Quite alcoholic, but well-balanced. Becomes increasingly pleasant as one approaches the bottom.

Bottled. Hazy amber colour, mediumsized beige creamy head. Aroma is raisins, caramel, mild hops, bready malts, quite sweet malts and some hints of alcohol. Flavour is malts, caramel, raisins, alcohol and mild notes of hops in the background. Aftertaste is rather sweet malts and raisins with some breadyness too.

Bottled. Cloudy orange coloured with an off white head. Sweet aroma of malts, caramel and bread. Sweet flavour of malts, caramel and bread with notes of fruits. Good !
