On tap at the Castle. Taps a nice cloudy golden colour (much like a hefe but slightly less cloudy). Aroma is odd, a mix of yeast and pils malts Taste is not as unique or complex as I was expecting, but still quite nice. It’s like a cross of a well made pilsener and a well made hefe-weizen. An almost sour touch to it is evident in the finish and after taste. Very enjoyable, and I’m sure I’ll be having plenty more of this in the future, as it’s the only beer of this style available to me.

Bottle at ØLbaren - thanks to Jannik for the taste. Clear yellow - white head. High sweetness, light hay & straw, cardboard, light citric, fruity, light light malty and hoppy. Too sweet. Boring.

From a .5 litre brown class bottle with ceramic swing-top. Pours a dense dark straw color with a thick white head. Soft pilsner malt flavor with underlying mellow effervescence. Interesting. OKAYU.

Bottle. Pours a hazy deep orange colour with a good white ehad. Sweet malty and fruity aroma with some yeast. Good mouthfeel. The flavour is sweet with a good maltiness, fruits, bitter hops and some yeast. Bitter finish.

Orange and poured flat.Fairly lifeless and without much flavour althought there was some fruitiness present if you looked hard enough.Quite poor.

Bottle from the always interesting Dodgy Deli, Cowly Road, Oxford. Hazy copper, nice sticky white cap of foam that lasts all down the glass. Minty aroma, good white bread. Sweet soft doughy malt flavor, briskly minty herbal hops. Fine textured, gentle carbonation. A pleasant, yeasty apricot finish. A beer comfortable in it’s rustic pedigree.
