Pours a beautiful hazy golden with a tall billowing off-white foam that fades leaving decent lacing. Aroma is quite grassy with sweeter corn notes, some caramel and lots of malt, a touch of fruit and flowers. Flavor is initially quite caramely with a grassy twank, rich caramel covered bread, however, the caramel doesn’t remain as prevalent and dries to a nice balance with the breadiness and old hops, quick clean finish with a lasting bready slightly skunked hop aftertaste. I love these beers and helles and this one is a fine example. Amazing body, Hacker-Pschorr always does that well, no doubt a result of bottle conditioning, medium bodied with medium sized uniform just a tad sizzly carbonation that is quite playful on the tongue, not sticky or chewy at all, very clean. Ever so drinkable... Prost! Dorqui (1361), Brescia, Italy

Torbid and hazy amber aspect, discreet bubbly appearance. Bulky and resistant head. Young, acidulous aroma with notes of dehydrate flowers. Lightly sour, little bitter, lively taste, long-lasting. Aroma pressoché inesistente e un gusto sbiadito, quasi fosse annacquata. TrefwoordPunk (555), Leiden, Netherlands

Pours a hazy copper with a medium and fading white head and an aroma of fruit (oranges, mandarins and unripe cherries), hops and sweet malts. The taste is sweet with notes of white bread, clotted cream, yeast, citrus and spices (maybe coreander). A good beer, but not very special ogreface (313), Budapest, Hungary

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jun 5, 2009 bottle, pours a cloudy gold with a tall frothy white head. Hay, moldy wood and a nice hop character in the aroma. Sweet doughy and bready malt that ends with a light hop bitterness, more on the dry side. The carbonation is light to moderate and has a creamy mouth with light fizz. Not bad. bhensonb (4274), Woodland, California, USA

Lightly hazy, slightly orange tinged gold color with a good frothy white head. Light floral and citrus aromas. Medium body with rather mild carbonation. Flavor is a bit grainy with yeast notes, and citrus. It is a bit doughy. Finishes a bit grassy/herby. Light finish spice reminds of a hefeweizen. Very pleasant drink.
