Jul 5, 2008 Golden colored with lively carbonation. Medium sized white head. Hopped and crispy aroma with some weird banana note. Medium bodied. Flavor is similar basic German pils: biting hops and lemon, aftertaste turns to dry one.

Jun 30, 2008 Pours gold with a nice white head. Smells perfumy with some crisp dry malt presence. Tastes bitter with some nice dry pilsner malty goodness and some splashes of perfumy wildflower like hoppy touches on the finish.

May 30, 2008 50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden with a lacing white head. Light hoppy and grassy aroma. Flavour is dry and mild cardboardish. Slowly building dry bitterness with a light spice note. Nicely mild herbal and bitter finish.

May 17, 2008 Biggish fine-bubbled shiny white head. Yellow body with carbonation. Light mildly fruity peppery aroma with malty earthy notes. Dry golden fruity taste with malty honeyish notes and traces of mint. Chalky, clean, sharpish mouthfeel. Aftertaste is much the same. Spicy, minty taste lingers. An excellent pils. (0.25l draft at der Pschorr, München.)

May 14, 2008 On tap at the Castle. Wow. Maaaaaaaan this stuff was good. Since it was on tap I’m sure it was in the best possible condition to be enjoyed outside of Munich, and I’d be so bold as to say that this is about as close as one can get to true German draught beer in North America. Amazing, simple, subtle and floral aroma of Noble hops, mixed in with pils malts that promise not to disappoint. Flavour is the same as the aroma but magnified. Crisp, smooth as a Helles, refreshing, with a perfect Noble hop finish, followed by an absolutely delicious sweet and bready malt character. This is, in all honesty, the best German Pilsener I’ve ever had! A Pilsener that entices you to drink more and more, pint after pint!
