Aroma is yeasty with notes of clove and a slightly soapy quality. Flavour is bang on for the style - notes of banana, clove, sweet malt & yeast. Mouthfeel is light, and the finish is quite short. Not my favourite, but not too bad. NeonLX (258), Wisconsin, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 3, 2006 Bottle. Pours a slightly cloudy medium brown with orange highlights. Big, fluffy off-white head that lasts all the way down. Mildly spicey aroma with a hint of clove. Slightly sweet initial taste against a good malty base. Yes, there’s a hint of clove in the background. Flavors were more sublte than I had expected but it’s still a nice, smooth beer. Wish I had another. illinismitty (1801), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
