Oct 17, 2004 Updated: Mar 30, 2005Pours a cloudy, earthy amber in color with a 1/2" creamy head. Aroma is slightly sour malted grain. Flavor is sweet and malty with hints of wheat. Very nice, smooth dunkel with a crisp finish.

Oct 10, 2004 The DM & Hotstuff’s European Honeymoon trip beer number 59. This draft brew from our hotel in Garmisch-Partenkirchen Germany poured a medium sized head of foamy finely sized off-white colored long lasting bubbles that left behind a carbonated cloudy dark brown colored body. The aroma was a dark malt yeasty one and the mouth feel was smooth initially with a slight tingle and a thick lingering yeasty finish. The flavor contained notes of dark malts yeasty and was somewhat flat after a few minutes.

Oct 9, 2004 Finally, The Hacker trifecta! It’s burgundy, and bubbly with a nice floral ester sweet flavour and a smooth palate -- as with all the pschorr’s... but it’s nothing spectacular. Full bodied and watery really. Still prefer the hefe to this!

Oct 5, 2004 Nice head on this. Murky burgandy color. Dry lager aroma. Nice full body with good malty notes and some estery sweetness. Hints of wheat peeking through.

Sep 26, 2004 (tap) dark cloudy wheat with a full palate but a light finish, very drinakble, these dunkels are really starting to grow on me... crisp.

This is an ok beer,but somewhat overatted.I tasted bananna,and it has good maltiness.
This beer has an interesting cloudy brown apearance.

Aug 29, 2004 Nice aroma. Taste is like cinnamon, nutmeg, malt, and copper. Nice head, overall pretty good, but nothing I will probably ever buy again.
