Aroma of bananas and some cloves, with hints of roasted malt in the background. Flavor is similar, with citrus, followed by a roasted malty finish. PaulHegedus (467), Georgetown, Ontario, Canada

This was tan brown in a tall weizen glass with a beautiful one inch frothy head. There was caramel, some fruit, and clove in the aroma, all fairly subdued. The body was light to medium with a fair bit of carbonation. I could taste lots of fresh brown bread, more caramel in the malt, some subtle clove, dark fruit. BuckeyeBoy (1674), Boise, Idaho, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Feb 11, 2009 12 oz bottle purchased at the Beer Run in Chattanooga. Poured a hazy brown color with a two finger tan head. The aroma was sweet, with clove and a bit of caramel. The flavor was fruity, with clove present. The palate was average, with good carbonation, a clean mouthfeel and a medium body. I really enjoyed this beer. I didn’t expect much, as I am generally disappointed by these types of beer. This one is an exception. Gregis (1134), Shawnee, Kansas, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 7, 2009 Pours a cloudy dark brown with a large fluffy off-white head. The nose is a solid, sweet, hearty wheat malt with supporting notes of dark caramel and clove. Light bodied and fairly aqueous with a slight wheaty graininess and a clean finish. Sweet, grainy, subtle dark caramel wheaty malt and cloves. A fairly straightforward dunkelweizen, it’s not particularly exciting, but it is very drinkable. jake65 (1725), Williston, North Dakota, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Feb 3, 2009 Bottle: Light brown and orangish pour with a thin head. Nose is fruity with yeast and cloves. Tastes soft and mellow. Malty sweet fruity with more light spices. Rather tame. OD40oz (602), Box Elder, South Dakota, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Jan 23, 2009 Another german beer, another dissapointing waste of money. Pours like iced tea with little to no head. Smells like the typical sour german dunkelweizen. Had a wheaty, sour banana taste. I am so glad I don’t live in Germany so I don’t have to drink shitty ass beers. I don’t know how people drink this type of shit. Jsawyer (286), Glenside, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jan 17, 2009 Bottled "Weisse Dark" so I’m assuming its the Dunkle. Poured hazy amber with a thick frothy head. Smelled sweet and spicy wheat, caramel, hay, citric, and softly fruity. Flavor was obvious wheat and sweetly citric almost mandarin orange with clove undertones. It was smooth and finished with a clean carbonated bite. I don’t usually like Weisse but this one was sessionable.
