Aroma gave off malt and also some spices or fruit (I couldn’t decide which). Taste was a bit of malt, and finished crisp and smooth. PaulHegedus (465), Georgetown, Ontario, Canada
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 22, 2009 Bottle. This is a bubbly transparent golden colour with a white, quarter inch head. The aroma is very grassy with some dandelion, bread and butter. Mouthfeel is light. There is more grass in the flavour, with some grain, lemon. Finish is short. | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 7, 2009 Poured a large white foamy head with some blobby lacing and rim retention only. Ample ammount of carbonation. Light yellow gold. Lots of microscopic floaties. Smell is quite good. Nice aroma! Lots of mild and warm breadlike malts, slight nuttiness and citrus (ciderish), a smooth wiff of grass and wheat and a hint of alcohol. Smellings switch between malty and grassy. Tastes better a bit colder. Dry. Malts. Some sweetness that seems seperated from the bready malts. Grass shows up at the end of the swig. Mouthfeel is average with the beer being a little more than medium bodied (odd) - almost seems thick. I just found a flavour that’s flavourless...whatever the hell that means, but it’s there...or not..? More substance than anything I guess. Very weak bitterness and lenghty finish that is somewhat sour, but not in a bad way. More grassy and bitter at the bottom of the glass. It’s drinkable. Better flavour warmer, but more drinkable colder I’ve decided. pumpmaster (477), Pembroke Pines, Florida, USA
