Sweet aroma of fresh honey and hay. Mouthfeel smooth, lightly watery. Sloppy, spotty lacing. Flavor of fresh sweet honey maltiness with a lightly bitter aftertaste. Lightly musty. Doesn’t totally hit the mark but good. radiomgb (2072), Peterborough, Ontario, Canada

href=http://www.thebeerstore.ca/ target=blank>The Beer Store in Peterborough. Golden-yellow in colour, thin dissipating white head, some lace. The aroma is grassy and floral, some sweetness, herbal, light spice and bread yeast. The flavour is of floral hops, some bananas, light lemon, grass, biscuits. Bitter mouthfeel, light body, high carbonation. Finishes with a lingering bitterness, light spice and just a bit light overall. jpm30 (1588), East Central, Georgia, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jul 17, 2006 From a 12 oz. brown bottle with a freshness date in the lower right corner of label.
Poured a clear pale yellowish golden with a foamy white head, minimal amount of sticking.
Had a nose of grain bread and spicy hops, pretty clean overall.
A crisp and smooth light bodied mouthfeel.
Pleasant tasting, lightly sweet grainy bread, slightly lemony in the middle and balanced by a nice spiciness from the hops, above average drinkability.
A decent and affordable lager from Hacker-Pschorr, tasty on a hot summer day.

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 24, 2006 Pours golden, with a white head. Lovely aroma of malts and a hint of hops. Smells crisp. First taste is light and malty. Follow up sips are slightly bitter, but the maltiness remains. I like the simplicity while having tons of flavor. It’s not a strong beer, very smooth and easy drinking. Body is medium, and mouthfeel is rather creamy with a cloying effect that’s moderate. I am pretty impressed. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jun 6, 2006 Bottle, labelled Munich Edelhell. Pours gold and clear. Good initial head, but it fades. Very light aroma. In fact, I couldn’t pick anything out of it. Maybe some sourdough and lemongrass and a slight bit o honey, but nothing too strong. Sweet in the mouth, mostly from honey. A little bitter, from citrus and lemongrass and it finishes somewhat dry and somewhat sweet. It’s simple, but it’s easy drinking and pretty good. chicagobears (336), Elk Grove Village, Illinois, USA
