Clear crisp gold with a steady but very thin head and a touch of lacing. Light grass and biscuit aroma. A lawnmower beer with a touch of class and a light hop bite. Sweet finish.

500ml brown bottle. Poured a pale straw shade. Strong and creamy white head, very tight bubbles. Noble hop/grass aroma with some malt evident. Gentle bitterness with light grainy malts, some sweetness, softly carbonated. Very easy drinking lager.

From the bottle: Pours pale gold with a medium white head. Aroma is wheat yeast citrus Taste starts very soft sweet malty/grain. Beginning quickly transfering to a sour bitter fairly clean finish. Refreshing but unspectacular. Seemed to me to resemble a kristalweizen rather than a dortmunder/helles.

bottle. pale golden body with a medium-sized white head. sweet grain aroma, cookies, and faint hops. refreshing soft body. crisp cookie dough flavour with a fairly quick finish. it’s straightforward but I guess you can say it does the trick.

Translucent yellow. Minor head punctured by heavy carbonation. Nose of faint skunk and faint maize. Mouthfeel reveals a lil skunk and hops, Saaz? Bitterness becomes more pronounced and in fact saves the day for a somewhat unremarkable beer.

Draught at Beerbistro. Pours a clear light gold with a small white head. Very mild aroma of wheat and malt. Flavour is sweet and citrusy and like the aroma, quite mild. Smooth finish. Decent but nothing special.

Pours an extremely light clear gold with a small amount of quickly dissapating white head and tons of bubbles. Aroma is sweet hay, lemon, and slightly hoppy. Potent from across the room. Flavor is light on the palate, sweet, lemony, slightly bitter, then full smooth finish. Overall, perfect for a hot summer day.

Color is a clean and clear sunny lemon yellow. Soft puffy glimmering white cap about medium thickness sits atop. Keeps a slender skimming and collar. Slow and soft carbonation rises within its golden glow. Minimal lacing in very thin strings. Aroma favors a clean and refreshing grassy lemon candy with a slight starchy stiffness to its sweetenss. Taste is quite nice here. I like these simple little German lager beers for summertime drinkin’ and this one hits the spot. Tender sweetness abounds with a bready melted softness. Slimming tendencies of lemon/citric candy and a bright but mildly firm carbonation sits just right. Middle is melon-like. A grassy edge is created nearer the finish with a bit of dryish spicyness of Saaz-like hops. A bit of floralness plays in the finish as well. Feel is clean, crisp, and smooth. Nice and quick creamy medium body. Malts play a big part with bready sweetness and candyfied goodness. Balance is good too. Hops create a nice grassy edge and drying spiced finish. One fantastic Munich style Helles lager. I have yet to run in to one I haven’t liked from Germany and this one is no different. Yum. Its only downfall is its 5.5% ABV- it does catch up to ya after a few pretty quickly as it goes down way too damn easily. Mow em if ya got em and drink up.
