On tap at the Edel Haus resteraunt in Madison, Wi. 1liter version as after the first 1/2 liter I found that my ratings were going to hell real quick. An interesting note, at the resteraunt the table next to me was passing the glass boot around and somehow I got to try the"boot", None of these guys remember what the hell they ordered so I probably am missing a new rating. Anyways, I’m babbling but the beer was golden in color and very little head. A fruit palate and very little aftertaste.

Bottled: Golden coloured. Clear. White small head. Grassy, fruity and sweet aroma. Malty and sweet flavour. Hops in the background. Is quite bland and uninteresting . Is dry and dies quickly on the palate.

A yellow beer with a small collapsing white head. The aroma is slightly sour hoppy with very light notes of malt. The flavor is sweet malty with a good hop making a good presence, combined with light notes of caramel. The hops gives it the beer a very crisp flavor and a dry end. The mouthfeel is very soft.

Pours a light golden colour with a medium thick white head. Aromas of grainy malt and hops. The taste was the same grainy malt with some bittering hops in the finish.Fairly thirstquenching but I prefer the hefe.

Bottle. Golden with a very small head. Aromas are sweet grain, biscuit malts with fruit especially citrus. Also, dry, metallic hops. Flavours are grain with hints of lemon and dry hops. Buttery smooth with no great aftertaste.

Clear and golden with a thin white head. Sweet grainy aroma with some malt and pee(?). Crisp and clean with a nice, slightly tart, bready malt flavor and a sweet finish. Thin in body but easy to drink. More bitterness than the average Helles.

Bottled. Pours clear gold with a small rocky white head that fades rapidly into a thin film. Spotty lacing that crawls slowly back into the brew. Aromas of grass, tart apples and sour malt. Wheat and yeast combine to great youcwith the first drink and then it finishes slightly hoppy and spicy. Buttery mouthfeel that is also fizzy, refreshing and light bodied.
