Quite a nice, complex taste. Crisp, citrusy, wheaty, sweet, malty, some acidity, with a dry finish. Suspect I could drink a lot of it. dirkules (613), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Flavour wise it’s not all that exciting... but the pschorr does make another good drink. Citrusy, clovey, grassy, and sweet. punkeedo (465), San Antonio, Texas, USA

Perhaps it is a bit watery, but it is amazingly drinkable. A very nice brew and highly recommended. Good stuff. RichJ7 (1175), Cullman, Alabama, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 5, 2004 Pours a hazy gold with a small, creamy head. Aroma is hoppy, but not overmuch. Flavor is sweet malt and earthy hops. Smooth and clean on the palate. Not bad at all. Jine (896), Nutley, New Jersey, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 21, 2004 bottle, so I wasn’t witness to the "noble" head. Nice hops, definitely got the acidic-ness I saw mentioned in another rating. A nice session beer from Hacker-Pschorr ohknaks (44), USA

This was OK, on the blander side of the scale, lightly sweet bready malts, balanced by some lightly grassy hops, pretty easy going, and fairly boring, but quite drinkable. CEZ (372), Milano, Italy
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 9, 2004 Another one of those unusual beers I can only find at the Emisfero shopping mall in Monfalcone, so let me thank them for their effort in bringing different beers to the public: KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK, GUYS! Surprisingly light straw body, good white head, no lace. Standard lager aroma with traces of biscuits and grass.Taste is refreshing and crisp as you can expect, with a good balance between the initial maltiness and a dry, slightly acidic finish. Light to medium on the palate, but this is good since it just makes it more drinkable. A nice beer in its style, especially because of the decent hoppy character in the finish, which many other Hellesbier lack.
