12 oz bottle: A nice malt tone to this brew at first, with some roasted nut notes in the the nose as well, a light hop and citrus backing makes this brew smell actually quite good. Appearance is golden with a thick white head that lingers. Flavor is clean, crisp with more subdued malt notes and more of a grainy corn taste to this brew. Palate is light and crisp with a light tingling on the back of the tongue after a few seconds. Overall, It’s an alright Helles. I liked it and would buy this more often than a BMC.

Pours a clear straw gold, with a big, white sudsy head that leaves a slight lace for most of the beer. The aroma is very much about celery and cut hay, with some grain notes on the side. The mouthfeel is crisp, with medium carbonation, but comes across a bit watered-down. The taste is very grainy, with an ever-so-slight bitter finish and tangy aftertaste. A bit too acidic. This beer is nothing special, and that’s too bad. Compared to their Hefe, this is extremely disappointing.

Bottled(500ml). –Golden coloured with a big white head. Dusty wheaty nose. The flavor is sweet malty, corny and metalic with not so pleasant notes of caramel. Sweet caramelish finish. Probably spoilt bottle or ???

One of the local shops has finally implemented a system of buying singles, and a bottle of this was part of my first mixed haul from them. Pale yellow pour with a thick layered head and sticky lacing followed by a brisk carbonation. Mild aroma of a faintly balanced lighter brew. Very dry on the palate, nice bitterness with a small sweetness. Drinkable and light, I’m afraid a sixer wouldn’t last very long in my fridge. Decent flavor, rather typical of the style. Nice grassy pale malt with some very distinguishable hops both flavorful and lightly bitter, well balanced. Soft and dry the flavor accentuates the great mouth feel. This is nice, typical, but still a very good representation.

Volo. 400ml Draught. Very fresh - crisp and fine, with a sweet medium malt body and barely extant hops presence on finish. Fresh and weakly hoppy aroma is enticing. Just as many Bavarians like to drink it. Quenching for the summer.

I’ll assume this was the lager I had from Laschet’s. Nice sweet flavor, quite clear and light. Very nice and clean taste.

Pours a heavy clear yellow. Taste is of heavy malts that almost make it come across as a malt liquor, but then are held off at the last minute by some elusive hops. Not as thick of a brew as I’d like, but a taste that is distinctly Eastern European.
