Aug 3, 2007 Updated: Feb 17, 2008500ml bottle. Pours a nice deeper golden colour, with a medium sized head, that leaves good lacing and lasts a while. The aroma is a nice blend of Munich and Pils malts and a tiny bit of noble hops. The aromatic hops really become more sweet-citrusy as you drink more and more, quite nice! The flavour is more or less the same, with of course an emphasis on the malts, delivered on a smooth flow of soft Munich water. The hops in the finish leave a sort of tingling feeling on the palate as it pours down. This is a very drinkable beer, especially in my lager glass with the Bavarian emblem on it! This is definitely what Munich Helles lagers are all about.

Aug 1, 2007 Bright gold in color with large diminishing white head and some lacing. Aroma is very nice, hoppy and sweet. Flavor is good, light malts and hops. Very fresh, light and drinkable.

Jul 20, 2007 Updated: Jul 24, 2007Bottle. Pours gold with a thick white head. aroma is grain, and grassy hops. Flavor is crisp and fruity, with a good dry finish. Best of it’s style that I’ve had.

Jul 15, 2007 500ml bottle. Pale golden colour with a fluffy white head. Aromas of grains, hay, grass, malt and slight hops. Taste of grains, corn and malt. Light bodied, with medium carbonation and a lightly bitter finish. Enjoyable but nothing special.

Jul 12, 2007 Pours a super clean light gold with a medium white head. For some reason I was expecting skunk in the aroma but what I got instead was a nice crisp citrus, raw malts, corn and grain smell. Reminded me of the aroma after a cold rain. Flavor is also crisp and refreshing. Corn, light malts, wheat and hops. Had nice carbonation from start to finish. Very Nice overall.

Jun 28, 2007 Absolute clear golden coloring with a near see through head to match. Very soft grain and hop aroma. Very light with an abundance of citrus on the tongue. A very nice light bodied beer that is easy to consume.

Jun 9, 2007 Pale gold appearance with a small white head and very little lacing. Soft, bready aroma; some floral hops if you stick your nose way down in the glass. Smooth, light-to-medium bodied, decently carbonated mouthfeel. Sweet malt flavor, with enough hops to add a bitter edge to the finish. Gratifying.
