A yellow beer with a small collapsing white head. The aroma is slightly sour hoppy with very light notes of malt. The flavor is sweet malty with a good hop making a good presence, combined with light notes of caramel. The hops gives it the beer a very crisp flavor and a dry end. The mouthfeel is very soft.

(Bottle 50 cl) Pale golden with a small, creamy head. Soft and malty nose. Soft, sweetish malt-feel and almost no bitterness. Typical Helles. 260705

Light golden colour. Aroma is a good mix of noble hops and fresh bready malts. Clean, simple flavour profile is malt-accented (bready) with a moderate bitterness but little hop character beyond that. As with the rest of the beer, the finish has a very even balance, just a bit dry but with plenty of clean malt notes as well. There are certainly bolder, braver examples of the style out there, but this hits the mark pretty well and with enough character to make it enjoyable.

Crystal clear straw body topped by a big soft white head. Aroma is grassy, lightly skunked. Taste is medium sweet, grainy/bready, mild grassy. Light, watery body.

Tap, Grillstub’n Mittenwald. Light malty aroma. Malty flavor with a touch of orange and boiled milk. Pleasant but forgettable.

On tap. Poured a light yellow with almost no head. Aroma and tastes of light hops with fruity undertones. Did not strike me as anything special. Fizzy body. Maybe I just don’t appreciate this style of beer...
