Alot better on tap than in the bottle. A lot better over there than here. Tied with Augustiner for best big Munchener beer.

12 oz bottle. bright and light in color yet rich in flavor. thin blanket of foam sticks around for a while. clean aroma like a german pilsner. clean malt. slight buttery mouthfeel. light bitterness. nice bubbles. clean dry finish with a lingering prickly sensation. they must use some noble hops. on tap is so fine. goes down like a big glass of milk did when i was a kid.

One of the better beers I have had. Falls just short of absolute perfection

I cannot say enough good things about Hackerpschorr. This is kind of like a lager or pilsner but so much higher quality then the USA conterpart. No bitter after taste, just a fresh, smooth, great, one!
