| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 11, 2009 Had in a 0.5L bottle from Coop Liquor Calgary, AB. A classic German hefe. Pour of hazy golden orange with a medium sized foamy white head. Aroma is fruity with hints of banana and some spiciness. The taste is rather uneventful, but there is mild spiciness and nice refreshing wheat beer flavour. Overall, very impressive and drinkable beer. BillyMidnight (41), Alberta, Canada
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 2, 2009 Funny, before I actually tried any German beer I always had the impression it would be dark, strong and harsh. But now I know better, and I’ve come to understand the festive nature of a good German beer. This medium-full bodied brew comes off like a celebration of a good harvest and the anticipation of another fine year. It’s made me listen to polka music in an entirely different way. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 1, 2009 Hazy light gold color, with a white head that lasts throughout the drinking experience. Taste is rather boring and uneventful - yeast, wheat, some spiciness. Drinkable, but not particularly enjoyable. Forgettable. kappldav123 (1836), Markkleeberg, Germany
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 27, 2009 The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Starts strong, fine fruity, notes of banana. The finish a bit weaker, a bit dry. Still a good hefeweizen!
