16.9 OZ at John’s Spirits. Traditional dark golden weisse with its hints of banana, clove, and citrus. Nice pour with a thick, white head, banana on the nose, and a spicy, dry, banana, yeast palate. Flat finish. Will buy it again, what a deal!

Dark, amber cloudy beer that even has a good head of froth on top from the bottle; you really get the wheatiness about it, almost a golden sweetness about it; quite a light bitterness at first that gives way to an all enveloping classic wheat-beer taste, plenty of fizz at just the right amounts, generous amounts of bitterness

Bottle proued to glass. A nice, deep, golden yellow brew with a large 3 fingered creamy white head that smelt of wheat and cereal like. Excellent lacing. A very prominate sour, or acidic taste to it , however it is very well balanced. A pretty good brew.

Nice cloudy banana ester beer. Smooth wheat character. Drinkable with a mild malt, crisp finish. Oily. OK

500 ml bottle from LCBO, served cool in a Weizen glass. JN17/08.

App.: Cloudy orange-golden with a nice white head that sits proud of the glass. Aroma: Lots of yeast, banana and clove esters, light lemony spiciness. Palate: Medium body, moderately soft effervescence, slightly syrupy. Flav.: Another big does of yeast and bread dough, banana esters, light clove and very light lemony spice; off-dry with a clean banana bread finish.

A lovely example of the style.

I first had this beer in Bavaria with a plate of sausage, kraut and pretzles. It brings me back to that time and place and is an easy drinking beer with a fresh flavor.

Had it on tap at Fiddler’s Green in Winter Park, FL. It poured a hazy golden orange-yellow color and had an aroma of banana, citrus, and clove: taste was the same flavor with a bit of a pepper (?) in the finish. Good beer.
