Had this one in Rothernburg Germany and brought the glass home as a souvenir. Had it with a plate of weinershnitzel with an appetizer of escargot. Incredible combination of flavors for the whole meal. IlanMan (817), Appleton, Wisconsin, USA

Great aroma of wheat and a few other things including banana and clove. Taste is of wheat, citrus a bit of lemon. Really good Hefe. Very refreshing. Would like to try it again in the bottle to see if I truely do like this beer. But on tap at this place it was great. crazyvin (1251), New York, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 27, 2008 Updated: May 29, 2008next to franziskaner, my #1 session beer. reeks of typical weizen aromas. i feel my low rating is unfair considering how much of this i drink, but im trying to keep it all in perspective. far from the world’s greatest weizen, but one of the best available mainstream in america. roder60 (1020), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 21, 2008 Pours super foamy white head and clear orange color. Very very doughy aroma and taste. Some banana and lemon zest as well. Had this and paulaner weise within a day of one another and paulaner was much much better. If you have the similar choice, pass on this one.
