Its everything one would want in this style as it is fruity, refreshing, and extremely smooth. weaselkenievil (738), Cheshire, England

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 30, 2008 Cloudy amber with large white head. Banana bread dough complete with wheat & yeast dominate the aroma. Tastes of wheat, lemon and banana with a light dry finish with next to no bitterness. A solid effort for a hefeweizen. tomthompson89 (1474), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 30, 2008 Bottle. Pours hazy yellow-gold with a large white head. Aroma is banana, spice, bubblegum. Flavor is same, slightly sweet with a bit of spice. Slightly thin mouthfeel. A pretty good example, on the estery and slightly thin but refreshing side of the spectrum. Nose of coriander, banana, and lots of fruity esters. A bit of spice flavor. Coriander, apple, and some chalky pepper. A great deal of sweetness in the flavor. Pretty thin mouthfeel, but would probably be very refreshing in the summer. wheatfreak (41), Marinette, Wisconsin, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Mar 23, 2008 Pours a golden, orange hue with the typical banana and citrus hefe aroma. Very crisp and refreshing. This is similar in taste to the Paulaner Hefeweizen, and, in fact, i’ve been told by a bar owner in Milwaukee, its probably the same beer as the Paulaner. I’m not sure, but I think the Paulaner and the Hacker- Pschorr use different yeast strains. Ok, I digress...nice Hefe. fearnobeer1976 (19), peshtigo, Wisconsin, USA
