Mar 22, 2008 Bottled. Pours out in a cloudy dark yellow/pale orange colour with a rich creamy and lasting white foam. Banana, wheat, cloves and mandarin and lemon-peels in the spicy aroma. Medium-bodied with rounded flavours of banana, cloves, oranges, all-spice with mild notes of apricots and vanilla. Creamy mouthfeel despite the lively carbonation. Cloves, bananas, tangerines, lemon-peels and peaches in long fruity and juicy aftertaste. One of the better wheat beers I’ve sampled.

Mar 19, 2008 One of the first hefe weisse beers I ever tried. I think it is very nice. Very yeasty and minimal hops on the finish. Good brew.

Mar 18, 2008 12 oz. bottle, pours a hazy and cloudy dark gold with a good bit of effervescence, some amber hues in the center, initially this has a large white foamy head and then deflates after a few moments to a 1/4" thick covering, this beer left some bubbly lacing on the glass, has a nice ripe banana and wheat malt aromas with cloves, fragrances of malt and fruit sweetness, flavors of wheat and malt with some fruit sweetness, has a tart citrus bite at the finish to provide a dry finish with a faint taste of lemon, not much hop bitterness but the citrus clears the tongue well, feels light on the palate with some fluffiness, this was better then what I expected, I recommend trying.

A: nice milky wheat color, nice head, lots of foam, good carbonation
S: natural wheat smell, some banana ester,
T: good classic taste, nice yeasty taste.
M: good medium body
D: nice complex but easy drinking white beer.

Mar 14, 2008 Pours a hazy gold, nice creamy white head. Aroma is yeast, banana, & some spice. Flavor is more of the same, with some citrus, very smooth. Not one of my favorite styles, but not bad.

Mar 12, 2008 bottle courtesy of BeerGestapo. thanks Mike. pours a very hazy amber color with a huge 3" head. nose is a blend of banana, lemon peel, and a touch of clove. very mild chewy wheat and yeast flavor and a bit of fruitiness.. was expecting a bit more with the somewhat impressive smell. palate is also unexpected, very soft and smooth, not fuzzy and carbonated as the appearance seems to predict. would be an amazing summertime cookout beer.
