Very good weisse, nicely carbonated. Has a orange haze, with nice hints of fruit.

Bottle- Sampled @ Siebel during the German style tasting- Slightly hazy golden color, small white head. Nose is balanced between the traditional weiss beer noses. Cleaner than the previous, wheat and yeast, clean, not picking up anything bad.

0.5l bottle. Pours an opaque honey-golden brown. Solid head that lingers. Looks really good. Smells very fruity and sweet. Palate is quite smooth and feels very refreshing. Tastes strongly of cloves and bananas. Really nice.

500ml tap-beer and then 500ml on bottle. Hazy orange coloured under a filmy layer. Fragile aroma of clove and wheat. The taste is a blend of sappy oranges and sweet, overripe banana. Dry ending. One of the better weizen I have tasted, but still a bit too sweet (Trier, 13th and 15th September 07).

Tasted back to back with Weihenstephaner. Silky, steadily fizzing apricot trumpet with a nibble of grain. Stillish and smooth. Heady banana perfume, sourish wood and citrus. Thickly blanketed with persistent froth. Touches of cabbage and smoke in the aroma. Distant toffee apple fruitiness. Wheat and malt in unusually equal measure. Lovely, treacherously mellow Hefe.
