Poured a cloudy haze with a small head and smelled great. Great taste that I would expect from a wheat beer with some strong banana flavor. Refreshing and smooth, I thought that this was a great example of a hefeweizen and I would definitely drink it again if I had the opportunity. mlist55 (210), media, Pennsylvania, USA

I kept wondering what the specific taste was. Not one of my favorite wheats. Leinenkugel sunset wheat and honey weisse are much better. BREWMUSKCLES (1070), New Jersey, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | May 16, 2007 nice beer for the spring and fall. typical german style wheat beer with the clove taste. a bit overdone as the banana and lemon citrus attempt to invigorate. body could be better as you have the wheat from which to start. still thinnish and tinny. good weiss and ok beer. does not seem particlarly refreshing or particularly satisfying. derst27 (35), Hackettstown, New Jersey, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 9, 2007 Bottle. Pours cloudy orange-gold with fizzy white head. The aroma is banana, zest, maybe some lemon cookies, and a little bit of butter. The flavor is identical to the aroma, no surprises here. Crisp finish, fruity aftertaste. theisti (1658), Leawood, Kansas, USA
