Sweet and yeasty grainy and fruity (orange, banana) aroma with shy notes of cloves. Sweet flavoured, light to medium bodied with a creamy mouthfeel. Wheaty and grainy taste with well-rounded fruity accents; sweet and slightly tart finish with a well-integrated, delicate clovy touch. Pretty balanced and elegant stuff. Wild4mild (37), USA

I agree with ChileThai that this was a little thin. I usually get this on tap and am much more satisfied. I also like to put a lemon in it for a little extra citrus. Nose is banana and wheat, but very thin and subdued. Flavor is thin and watery, although all the components of a hefeweizen are there. I was disappointed with this one. Rooney31 (42), USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 16, 2006 Bottle 355 ml from Dominick’s in Geneva on Randall Road. It has a nice murky amber/brown color, typical with most wheat beers. The head was fizzy but did not last particularly long. Nice wheat and banana aroma. The banana flavor is apparent at first but the light citrus notes finish the taste. A very enjoyable wheat beer. BückDich (4847), McCall, Idaho, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 11, 2006 Pours a hazy amber color with a light and persistant white head, lots of fizzies. The nose is ripe with wheat, malt and some straw. Light banana and orange clove notes. The flavor is clean and light with a touch of citrusy acidity and some smooth malt essence. Nice finish and a clean drinking hefeweizen that’s not too chewy in the wheat and yeast department. sliffy (1967), Columbus, Ohio, USA

Aroma of yeast, bready wheat, and a bit of spice. Flavor is a little lemony and bready, with a bit of spice to back it up. thornecb (1760), Marblehead, Massachusetts, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 1, 2006 Bottle. Hazy orange with a creamy white head, light carbonation. Heavy wheat and citrus odor, lightly sweet, light banana, light yeast, and even lighter bubblegum. Crisp, smooth, light pie crust / cracker malt in the mouth, light sweetness. Backs off from a tendency toward oiliness, but also leaves behind any chance at a full body. Wheat flavor is key. Very light sourness after a few swigs. Nothing here to really distinguish from any other German wheat, but this is well crafted.
