The flavor is sweet malty with notes of caramel, it is a bit thin for a bock - and hence doesn’t kick ass. Papsoe (14997), Frederiksberg, Denmark
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 18, 2006 (Bottle 50 cl) Pours a clear pilsener golden with a tall, handsome, white head. Aroma of malt and alcohol. Quite a full body with sweetish, malty accents. Alcoholic finish but not in an unpleasant way as with some pale bocks. 130806 MiP (9093), Sønderborg, Denmark

Hayish, grainy flavour. A bit of sewer. Rough, strange bitterness to the aftertaste. Not a good bock. joergen (8610), Frederiksberg, Denmark

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 8, 2005 Golden colour, medium fluffy foam; shy hoppy nose, astonishingly light bodied, well hidden alcohol; kind of a well rounded "Helles" with a clear hoppy aftertaste. Really a "light" Bock...O.K: yngwie (4970), Kristiansand, Norway
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Jul 12, 2007 Bottle. Clear, a bit pale golden, with a nice, white head leaving lacings. Malty sweetness and some hops in the aroma. Quite fruity-sweet and malty flavor, nicely balanced, but there’s something missing, it’s a bit too weak for a bock. Medium to full body. Sweet, malty and slightly grassy finish. I normally prefer the dunkler bocks, and this one does nothing to change that preferance, yet it is a quite nice one.(070528)
