Aroma of malts and hay with notes of caramel, sulphur and hops.
Flavour of malts, hay and hops with notes of caramel and metallic notes.
Hoppy finish. arepeejee (3), , South Yorkshire, England does not count Aug 19, 2008 50cl Bottle - Swing Top. Poured into a tall lager glass - medium head.
Not a big lager fan, but I tried this because it was on offer at a local beer shop.
Nice initial taste, wavers as it goes down. Easily drinkable, preferable to similar beers in its class.
Odd after taste. yespr (6259), Copenhagen O, Denmark Aug 19, 2008 50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a white head. Mild apple and orange fruity aroma. Mild cornish note too. Smooth hoppy and light caramel to biscuit malty base flavour. Medium sweet and with a mild bitterness following into the finish. patrick767 (1403), fort wayne, Indiana, USA Aug 14, 2008 bottle - Pours clear golden with a one finger head. It has a light bready malt aroma. The flavor is sweet malt with some very mild crisp hops. It’s light bodied and very drinkable, if uninspiring.
