Jan 30, 2009 On tap at the Flying Saucer in Addison. Nice looking off white head. Clear, with a reddish brown color. Nice clean malty taste, a little mellow, and some caramel in the flavor.

Jan 27, 2009 Bottled Thanks to Phil L and BeerMerchants.com for this. A dark dark brown coloured beer with a short lied off white head. The aroma has wood and bread together with caramelly fruit. The taste is a bit woody and flat. Sweet malts. lacking substance.

Jan 22, 2009 Bottle, 5.0%. Clear dark brown colour. Big light brown head. The flavour is mildly roasted. Slightly vinous. With a more distinct roasted note in the finish. The mouthfeel is slightly thin, but it suits this beer OK.

Jan 21, 2009 Deep brownish red with a light head and a mild lace. Super doughy yeasty aroma, mildly metalic and malty sweet aromas to follow with some light fruitiness. The flavor is lightly nutty and dry at first but gets malty sweet with some nice rosty flavors.

Nov 19, 2008 swing top bottle (500ml). -Amber/ruby coloured, medium sized pale beige head, malty caramel nose. Toasted malt, caramel and chocolate with notes of nuts and molasses. Dry finish. Typical and good dunkel.

Sep 17, 2008 Nose of chocolate and toasty bread. Pours dark brown with a thin head. Flavors of chocolate, toasted malts, caramel, and some moderate pleasant sweetness. Easy to drink. Not much going on.
