Interessante cerveja dentro do estilo proposto, com presença de malte torrado e caramelado. Suave e refrescante.

(7/3/08) Bottle at Der Pschorr in Munich. Dark brown with red hues and a rather creamy beige head. Aroma is toasty and caramelly with light hints of nuts. Sweet malty flavor with some toasted bread, caramel and light sugariness. Medium-bodied. A decent Dunkel. 7/4/6/3/13=3.3
(7/4/08) Draught at Altes Hackerhaus in Munich. Reddish dark brown with a medium beige head. Aroma of malt, toasted bread and a bit of caramel. Sweet flavor with malt, some toastiness and some caramel. Medium-bodied. A decent Dunkel. 7/4/6/3/13=3.3

(cleaning out my beer bottle collection as pictured in my profile and utilizing ratebeer.com) As I recall, I picked this one up for the unique bottle. Flavors were smooth and hoppy. A very German dark beer.

On tap at the Flying Saucer in Addison. Nice looking off white head. Clear, with a reddish brown color. Nice clean malty taste, a little mellow, and some caramel in the flavor.

This beer is tantamount to a malt-oriented American amber. Gorgeous crimson-amber with a decent head. Easy malt with slight candi quality, hops are in the periphery, but this is balanced more toward the malt. Like an amber, highly quaffable. Nothing outstanding, except for the balance. Good malt flavors, though restrained well.

(50 cl bottle at Haket, Göteborg)
Clear dark reddish brown color, huge lasting tan head. Sweet malty and caramel scent. Sweet malty and grainy taste. A bit acidic. A slight bit roasted, to the extent you can expect of a German dark lager. Medium mouthfeel, low bitterness.
