Bit of sting on the finish. Decent helles, with some good lemon on the finish that I could still taste in my mouth 10 minutes later waiting for my bus. Really quaffable. ogreface (317), Budapest, Hungary

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | Apr 28, 2009 Bottle, bought @ Ambrosetti, Berlin. Clear golden with a small, fizzy, frothy, white head. Lots of clear, big bubbles in the liquid. Aroma has lots of grain and grass with a slight vegetable edge to it. Medium carbonation, impressive creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is elegant, good bready malts and corn-like sugars mixed with a dose of grassy hops. But this is still average; especially for Hacker-Pschorr. TBone (6799), Pori, Finland

Yellow color, small white head. Slightly buttery, vegetably-grassy aroma. Quite light body and watery palate. Grainy-malty, slightly buttery, green grass hoppy flavor. Lower bitterness than expected. Uninspiring work. fonefan (11640), VestJylland, Denmark
